Safari Villa Boutique Hotel was founded by Maryke Lamprecht in 2018. As a mother of two, Maryke wanted to create a welcoming place where guests could slow down, feel looked after and experience the warmth of true Namibian hospitality.
Her love for hosting began long before Safari Villa. From 2008 to 2011, Maryke owned and managed the prominent Tulip restaurant, where she built a reputation for good food, thoughtful service and creating spaces where people felt at ease.
After stepping away from the restaurant to raise her children, Maryke returned to hospitality with a new vision: a boutique villa that feels elegant yet personal, peaceful yet full of life. Safari Villa is the result of that vision.
And no Villa story would be complete without Troy — the self-appointed Jack Russell guardian who proudly helps keep an eye on the property and welcomes visitors in his own special way.
